Diagnosis: DUWL me CFU/mL limit se zyada = biofilm/contamination. Immunocompromised patients me infection risk, isliye NABH ise seriously leta hai.
Karo:
- Waterline ka shock disinfection karao (manufacturer-recommended agent). Independent water bottle system + between-patient flushing chalu karo.
- Disinfection ke baad dobara test karao — CFU within limit aane par hi 'controlled' maano.
- NABH Hub → Daily Logs → Registers → Waterline Flush me fail result + corrective action + retest result document karo.
- NABH Hub → Registers → capa: root cause (biofilm/no flushing), corrective (shock disinfect), preventive (daily flush + periodic waterline treatment + scheduled testing).
Aage se: Daily morning flush, between-patient flush, end-of-day protocol register me log karo. Periodic waterline maintenance schedule.
Edge case: Fail ke doran high-risk patients ko sterile/bottled irrigation use karo jab tak pass na ho.
